Stand Up!

We the People vs. the Super Committee Stand up for the principles we believe in; to support programs we know work! The "Super Committee" aka the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction will make decisions which will affect our communities. We cannot afford to remain on the sidelines. We're organizing ongoing efforts to reach out to Congress--especially Rep. Van Hollen and the rest of the "Super Committee"--educate the public, and get our message out. We're holding meetings and events to show strong support for investments in jobs, clean energy, education and infrastructure; and protecting our communities from austerity cuts.
