Senators Lieberman, Bayh, Landreau, Pryor, Ben Nelson and Lincoln refuse
to pledge to help save 45,000 lives per year. If any Senator blocks an
"up or down vote" on healthcare reform, we pledge to defeat them in the
primary the next time they run. We will also call upon the Democratic
leadership to strip them of seniority, and/or committee and subcommittee
chair positions.
Of course any Republican Senator who votes to block a vote deserves
defeat at the polls, and we pledge to work for that as well. Bottom line
for all Senators: if you vote against healthcare for all Americans, we
will vote against you.
