1. His membership on the 12 member House/Senate "Super Committee," a bi-partisan committee which is charged with attempting to find $1.5 trillion in budget cuts;
2. Some of the moving parts of the budget debate such as medicare, social security, the wars, the possibility of new taxes and tax reform and whether Maryland should expect to receive less money from the Federal Government; and
3. President Obama's re-election bid.
