This event is a fundraiser for Anne Feeney, perhaps the greatest contemporary labor troubadour of them all! Anne is battling cancer and in need of funds to help pay medical expenses. Sept. 11: Takoma Park Folk Fest -- The U-Liners!!
The U-Liners will present a 45 minute concert on the field stage at 2pm, and then again on the Seventh Heaven stage as part of a tribute to Steve Earle!
 

Tom Morello, The Nightwatchman (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) will do a solo concert at the Birchmere on Friday, Sept. 2 -- help us usher in a rockin' Labor Day Weekend!! Joe Uehlein will be opening -- come join in the fun!

Start off Labor Day Weekend with a bang!! Tom Morello, The Nightwatchman. You know him from Rage Against the Machine fame. Tom has stood with working families on countless picket lines and rallies and demonstrations, so let's show our appreciation with a strong crowd at the Birchmere!
